West Greene rolls to 47-0 victory
WAYNESBURG — West Greene took firm control early and rolled to a 47-0 win over Mapletown in a Tri-County South Conference football game Saturday night.
The game was moved from West Greene to Waynesburg’s field because of flooding.
Ben Jackson rushed for 163 yards and three touchdowns for the Pioneers (3-0, 3-1). Kolin Walker had a 5-yard touchdown run, Gavin Scott threw a 50-yard scoring pass to Nathan Brudnock and caught an 18-yard touchdown pass from Austin Crouse.
Brock Bedilion recorded a 27-yard fumble return for a score in the second quarter. Both teams were held scoreless in the second half.
