Wild Things rally by Joliet

The Washington Wild Things scored three runs in the top of the eighth inning to rally past the Joliet Slammers 5-3 in a Frontier League game Saturday night.

Shaine Hughes belted a two-run home run and Hector Roa followed one out later with a solo blast in the pivotal eighth inning.

Blake Adams led off the game with a home run and Mikael Mogues drove in a run in the sixth with a sacrifice fly.

Peyton Isaacson drove in two runs for Joliet and a third scored with the help of an error.
