McMurray native Alison Riske will play Donna Vekic of Croatia in the first round of Wimbledon Tuesday.

Riske has won two WTA titles, eight singles titles and one doubles title on the ITF Women’s Circuit. She reached the third round of the Australian Open in 2014, the third round at Wimbledon in 2013 and 2014 and the fourth round of the US Open in 2013. Riske is ranked No. 49 in women’s singles.

Vekic has won two singles titles on the WTA Tour: the 2014 Malaysian Open and the 2017 Nottingham Open. She has also won five singles titles and one doubles title on the ITF Women’s Circuit. She is ranked No. 22 in women’s singles.
