The recent Seton LaSalle graduate topped all scorers in the WPIAL with 61 goals. She added 20 assists in 15 games. Farnan scored 153 career goals. While the number ranks fourth in school history, she racked up those goals in fewer games than the players ranked head of her. Additionally, Farnan, whose mother ran cross country and competed in track at Notre Dame, averaged 4.1 goals per game and caused three turnovers. “She was all over the field,” said SLS coach Brian Klisavage. Farnan led the Rebels to back-to-back section titles. They advanced to the WPIAL Class AA semifinals before falling to eventual champion Oakland Catholic, 15-10, and finishing the season at 11-4 overall. Farman earned all-section, all-district and all-America acclaim in her career. While she received several Division I offers to play lacrosse in college, Farnan will walk on at Boston College, where she was accepted based on her 4.83 GPA. Named Academic All-America in girls high school lacrosse, Farnan will major in biology with the expectation of becoming a doctor.
