Late score gives Schaumburg win over Wild Things
Connor Oliver drove in Julio Gonzalez with a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the eighth inning to give Schaumburg a 3-2 win over the Wild Things Tuesday night.
Washington took a 2-0 lead in the third on a Blake Adams solo home run and a triple by Mick Fennell and sacrifice fly by Brett Marr.
Matt Rose tied it in the fifth when he launched a two-run home run. Darrell Thompson picked up the win.
Four Wild Things pitchers allowed six hits.
