Waynesburg women fall to Hiram

Alainna Conroy and Tashauna Wright combined for 51 points to help Hiram down Waynesburg 86-68 in a nonconferene game.

The game started nearly an hour late because Hiram had travel difficulties.

Hiram evened its record at 1-1 while Waynesburg slipped to 0-2.

Conroy scored a game-high 35 and Wright added 16 for Hiram. Conroy sank 13 of 22 shots, including 7 of 12 from three-point range.

Brooke Fuller had a double-double for the Yellow Jackets, scoring 20 points and pulled down 11 rebounds. Leighton Croft tossed in 11 points and grabbed six rebounds.
