South Fayette stretches muscles against Montour

McKEES ROCKS — Nate Deanes and Landon Lutz each scored twice and South Fayette opened the season with a 35-7 victory.

Deanes rushed for 97 yards on 16 carries and scored on runs of three and 53 yards.

Lutz completed 13 of 17 passes for 135 yards and hit Connor Harcarik with a scoring pass and rushed for an eight-yard score for the Lions, who led 28-7.

Christian Brandi also scored for South Fayette.
