The Washington-Greene Co. Chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame has moved its 2021 induction banquet to Sunday, Sept. 26, 3 p.m., at the Hilton Garden Inn in Southpointe.

The banquet was moved from its original date of June 13 because of concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic.

The decision to move the banquet was made after consultation with the hotel and a meeting of the hall of fame’s officers and committee chairs. The hope is to be able allow for more attendees on the new date.
