Peternel saves Bentworth win over Frazier

PERRYOPOLIS — Caleb Peternal intercepted a Frazier pass near the Bentworth goal line to secure a 20-19 victory by the Bearcats in a nonconference game Friday.

Peternel also caught a 66-yard touchdown from Seth Adams in the fourth quarter. Adams rushed for a 52-yard TD and hit Vitali Daniels with a 13-yard score to open the scoring.

Adams completed 15 of 28 passes for 236 yards and rushed for 83 yards on 17 carries for 319 total yards.

Peternel had 6 receptions for 179 yards.
