Mt. Lebanon gives Peters Township the boot

McMURRAY — If you like touchdowns and plenty of points, then this was not the game for you.
Ben McAuley booted field goals of 24 and 25 yards and Mt. Lebanon’s defense made sure they were enough as the Blue Devils defeated Peters Township 6-3 in a defense-dominated non-conference game Friday.
Peters Township (6-2) took a 3-0 lead in the first quarter when Joe Bedillion booted a 38-yard field goal, but they were the only points the Indians would score. PT played without running back Richie Woods, who sat out with an injury.
