Brown’s 5 TDs carry USC

UPPER ST. CLAIR — Running back Jamall Brown scored five touchdowns and Upper St. Clair ended South Fayette’s playoff hopes by beating the Lions 35-0 in a Class 5A Allegheny Six Conference game Friday.

USC (4-1, 8-2), the conference runner-up, led 14-0 after one quarter and 28-0 at halftime.

Brown scored on runs of 20, 33, 3 and 4 yards in the first half.

Brown capped the scoring in the fourth quarter when he caught a 39-yard TD pass from Ethan Hollman.

South Fayette, which was held to 141 total yards, ends its season with a 2-3 conference record and 5-5 mark overall.
