OLSH rallies past Chartiers-Houston
CORAOPOLIS — Chartiers-Houston had a first-quarter lead after scoring two defensive touchdowns, but Our Lady of the Sacred Heart rallied for a 20-12 victory Saturday night in a Class A Black Hills Conference football game.
The Bucs (0-3, 0-6) took a 6-0 lead when Aaron Walsh returned an interception 65 yards for a touchdown.
OLSH (2-1, 3-3) took a 7-6 lead after Ethan Gardner took a fumble 55 yards into the end zone and Patrick Altmar added the first of his two PATs.
A second fumble recovery for a score put the Bucs ahead by five after Trevor Popeck stripped the football from an OLSH player and returned it 10 yards into the end zone.
Gardner pulled in a 14-yard touchdown reception from Dorrien Tate and OLSH had a 14-12 advantage at halftime.
Brandon Brazell provided OLSH with an insurance touchdown on a 5-yard run in the fourth quarter. Brazell gained 106 yards on 19 carries.
Walsh was 10 of 22 for 157 yards.
