Cornell blanks Chartiers-Houston

HOUSTON — Cornell opened the scoring with a punt return for a touchdown, ended it with a fumble return for a score, and inbetween the Raiders’ defense dominated for a 39-0 victory over Chartiers-Houston in the Class A Black Hills Conference on Friday night.

Cornell (4-2, 7-2) held Chartiers-Houston (0-6, 0-9) to only 50 yards total offense.

The Raiders led 14-0 after one quarter, 21-0 at halftime and  27-0 after three quarters.
