Jefferson-Morgan pulls away, beats Bentworth

JEFFERSON — Jefferson-Morgan scored a touchdown on the final play of the first half and added 14 points in the second half to secure a 35-14 Class A Tri-County South Conference home victory over Bentworth on Friday.

Jefferson-Morgan (2-1, 3-3) led 14-0 after the first quarter and 21-14 at halftime. The lead grew to 27-14 after three quarters.

Bentworth goes to 1-2 in the conference and 3-3 overall.
