Sieg scores 4 TDs to help Fort Cherry complete unbeaten regular season
Matt Sieg made sure his senior night was memorable.
Sieg rushed for 245 yards and four touchdowns to help Fort Cherry (6-0, 10-0) finish off an unbeaten regular season with a 49-8 win over Serra Catholic (1-5, 2-8) in a Class A Black Hills Conference game.
Sieg scored on runs of 52 and 19 yards in the first quarter and from 65 and 50 yards in the second quarter.
Eli Salvini added a 49-yard score and Landon Trnavsky found the end zone on a nine-yard run.
The Rangers led 42-0 at halftime and Jordan Bianchi contributed a 60-yard interception return in the third quarter.
Shane Andiorio broke the shutout for Serra Catholic by scoring on an 8-yard run with 30 seconds remaining in the game.
