Nora Lindley had three hits, including a pair of doubles and plated three runs for Bentworth (13-0) who defeated McGuffey 10-0 in five innings in a nonsection softball game Thursday.

Sydney Gonglik hit a solo home run and had eight strikeouts over four innings pitched. Mikayla Gonglik tripled and drove in a run and Addison McVicker singled twice and had a pair of RBI.

Maura Janovich and Sidney Dobzynski singled for McGuffey (6-5).

Chartiers-Houston 13, OLSH 2: Lauren Rush had four hits and drove in five runs to lead Chartiers-Houston to a 13-2 win over OLSH in five innings in Class 2A Section 3.

Rush finished a homer short of the cycle. She doubled twice and had a bases-clearing triple. Seanna Riggle drove in three runs with a double in the fifth inning. The Bucs (8-0, 14-1) belted 16 hits.

Taryne Drilak struck out nine over five innings to earn the win.

Mya Eshenbaugh and Leann Walzer had an RBI each for the Chargers (5-5, 6-8).

Monessen 12, Woodland Hills 1: Grace Clingenpeel drove in three with inside the park home run and finished with three hits and four RBI in a 12-1 win for Monessen (5-7) over Woodland Hills (1-6) in five innings in a nonsection game.

Joey Hurst pitched five innings and allowed one unearned run for the Greyhounds. She yielded three hits and two walks and had a pair of strikeouts.

Bailey Koper singled twice for Monessen.

Seton LaSalle 5, Burgettstown 2: Seton LaSalle built a four-run lead through three innings and held on for a 5-2 win over Burgettstown (6-4, 7-6) in Class 2A Section 3.

Brooklyn Robinson hit a two-run homer in the sixth inning to cut the deficit in half, but Seton LaSalle added an insurance run in the bottom half.

Robinson and Raya Sentipal had two hits each.

Layla Chapman tripled and was the winning pitcher for the Rebels (7-2, 9-2) with 13 strikeouts.
