Greater Route 50 Bronco champions

Team Hawkins, from the Chartiers-Houston School District, defeated the Avella Eagles in a best-of-3 series to win the Greater Route 50 Bronco League baseball championship. Team Hawkins won the decisive third game in the series 11-2 on July 2. Team members include, front row, from left: Carter Weiss, Jackson Pope, Austin Trunzo and Andrew McNicholas. Back row: Coach Chris Hawkins, Oliver Taylor, Salvi Yokum, Jaxson Hawkins, Brevan Boskovich, Tyler Hopkins, Walker Kent, coach Ryan Hopkins and coach Casey Yokum. Team Hawkins had an undefeated regular season and lost its only game all year in the championship series.
