The Pittsburgh Pirates traded relief pitcher Kyle Nicolas to division-rival Cincinnati in exchange for utility man Tyler Callihan Wednesday night. Nicolas is currently with team Italy preparing for the World Baseball Classic. He has a career 4.68 ERA over 98 innings in the majors. Callihan made a brief debut for the Reds last year, before breaking his arm and wrist, crashing into the outfield wall trying to make a catch. He hit .303 in triple-A Louisville with four homers and a dozen RBI in 24 games before his call-up.
