Ringgold rolls to nonconference win over South Park
MONONGAHELA – A 27-point second quarter helped Ringgold (2-3) pull away from South Park (1-4) for a 46-7 win in a nonconference game Friday night.
It was the first meeting between the programs since 1975.
Nick Stasko rushed for three touchdowns and freshman quarterback Jase Trumpe threw for three more scores.
Stasko had a two yard touchdown run and a pair of 22-yard scores.
Trumpe threw a pair of touchdowns to Dennis Hawkins one for 80-yards and another for 59.
He also connected with Demetri Lowe on a 9-yard score.
Crosby Dague added a 6-yard score. Dague rushed for 123 yards on 13 carries. Hawkins had 155 receiving yards and Trumpe finished 5 of 8 passing for 173 yards.
Camden Barkey had South Park’s lone touchdown on a one-yard fumble recovery.
