Anderson perfect in W&J rout

Jack Anderson went 4-for-4 with a double and drove in four runs as Washington & Jefferson pounded Pitt-Greensburg 15-2 in a nonconference baseball game on Monday.

Andrew Miko had three hits and three RBI for the Presidents, who improved to 24-7 on the season. Pitt-Greensburg fell to 8-20.

The Presidents scored four runs in the first and put the game out of reach with a 10-run outburst in the fourth. Anderson had a pair of RBI singles in the frame. Josh Dezenzo had two hits, including a double in the fourth, which tied the W&J single-season doubles record at 19.

Brady Dojonovic pitched four innings and struck out six to earn his first win of the season.
