Vulcans to play for PSAC championship
Bryson Lucas had a double-double and was one of five California players to score in double figures, and the Vulcans used a decisive second-half run to beat Seton Hill 77-63 in the semifinals of the PSAC men’s basketball tournament Saturday night at the Highmark Events Center in Erie.
California (21-8) will play for the PSAC title and an automatic berth in the NCAA Division II tournament at 3:30 p.m. Sunday against host and top seed Gannon. The fifth-ranked Golden Knights (28-2) beat Indiana 99-85 in the other semifinal.

That’s when Cal embarked on a pivotal 21-6 run that gave the Vulcans a commanding 66-48 advantage with less than nine minutes to play.
