Celaschi pitched the first four innings, allowing four hits and two walks. She struck out three. Brunner followed with three innings to get the win.

Charleroi was limited to two hits by PT pitcher Lili Giulianelli. The Cougars’ Emma Stefanik had the game’s only extra-base hit, a double.

Brownsville 4, McGuffey 3

Winning pitcher Ava Clark struck out 11. She gave up a pair of doubles, to Kaylee Ward and losing pitcher Makenna Crothers.

Crothers struck out eight and did not walk a batter.
