Laurel Highlands takes to air, beats Ringgold
UNIONTOWN – Noah Lion threw two touchdown passes and Laurel Highlands was a 21-6 winner over Ringgold in the Class 4A Big Six Conference Friday night.
Tristen Baker caught a 12-yard touchdown pass from Lion for a 7-0 lead at 6:04 of the first quarter.
Austin Pehowic’s two-yard touchdown run got the Rams (0-2, 1-6) within one point after the extra point was no good with 11:40 left in the second.
Josh Reed caught a three-yard pass for a touchdown with 4:35 left before halftime and Antwan Black closed the scoring on a three-yard run in the third quarter. Black rushed for 112 yards on 15 carries.
