Fast-starting Peters Twp. routs Baldwin
McMURRAY – Nolan DiLucia threw four touchdown passes in the first quarter, Nick McCullough caught two scoring tosses and returned a punt for a touchdown, and Peters Township rolled to a 49-8 win over winless Baldwin in the Class 5A Allegheny Six Conference.
The win clinches a playoff berth for the defending WPIAL champion Indians (2-1, 7-1) and sets up a showdown next weekend as PT hosts conference leader Bethel Park. A win by the Indians gives PT a share of the title.
DiLucia threw TD passes of 12 and 55 yards to McCullough, 28 yards to Eli Prado and 55 yards to Reston Lehman in the first quarter, which ended with the Indians leading 42-0. Nick Courie had a two-yard scoring plunge and Darius McMillon ran 38 yards for a touchdown in the opening quarte.
McCullough had the only touchdown of the second quarter on a 57-yard punt return.
