Late touchdown sinks Trinity

Trinity went from jubilation to heartbreak in the matter of moments.
About a minute after Hillers quarterback Jonah Williamson ran for an 82-yard touchdown, Moon responded with a touchdown of its own to steal a 14-13 victory Friday night at Hiller Field.
Williamson ran untouched down the sideline to give Trinity a brief lead, but the extra point was missed, which ended up looming large.
Moon promptly went right down the field and Andrew Cross connected on a 45-yard TD pass to Sevi Vandetti with 23 seconds remaining. Evan Senkevich nailed the extra point to put the Tigers in front.
The score was tied 7-7 at halftime and the second half was primarily filled with punts until the final minute.
Trinity struck first with 5:51 remaining in the second quarter when Jonah Williamson threw a strike to Daniel Glass for a 23-yard touchdown on a fourth down play.
Glass ran a wheel route down the sidelines and caught the ball as he was entering the end zone.
It was the third time on the drive that the Hillers converted a fourth down. The first came on a trick play when Williamson pitched the ball back to Chase Kostelnik and Kostelnik found Ayvari Chandler in the middle of the field for a 13-yard gain.
Williamson connected with Chandler for a nine yard gain on a fourth and eight at the Moon 27.
A Trinity turnover helped Moon knot the score just before halftime.
The Hillers fumbled at their own 24, which set up Moon and Paul Bronaugh scored on a six yard touchdown run with 58 seconds remaining in the half.
Trinity got into the red zone on the opening possession of the game, but the drive fizzled out. The Hillers went for it on fourth and 11 at the 16, but only gained one yard on a pass play after Williamson scrambled around to avoid a sack.
