High school basketball: Woods scores 30 in Wash High’s win
Olivia Woods poured in 30 points, leading Washington to a 78-29 victory over winless Charleroi in a Class 3A Section 3 girls basketball game Wednesday night on the Cougars’ home court Wednesday night.
Washington (3-5, 6-10) raced to a 24-2 lead at the end of the first quarter and were up 47-13 at halftime.
Faith Partozoti tossed in 16 points for the Prexies and Kyndra Wynn added 12.
Charleroi is 0-7, 0-16).
