Burgettstown blanked at Serra

McKEESPORT – Brady Vrcic and Chris Green scored on runs in the third quarter to help Serra Catholic pull away for a 29-0 win over Burgettstown (0-5, 1-7) in a Class A Black Hills Conference game Friday night.

The Eagles (1-4, 2-8) led 7-0 at halftime, but seized control when Vrcic scored on a four-yard run and Green found the end zone from 14-yards. Serra Catholic also successfully converted a pair of two-point conversions to make it a 16-point third quarter.

Shane Andiorio had an 80-yard interception return in the fourth.
