Carmichaels doubles up West Greene

ROGERSVILLE – Will Murray and Cannon Bupka had a pair of rushing touchdowns each to lead Carmichaels to a 28-14 win over West Greene in the Class A Tri-County South Conference on Friday.

Murray scored on runs of eight and 14 yards in the first quarter for the Mikes (2-4, 3-5).

Bupka gave the Mikes the lead just before halftime on a five-yard run and added an insurance touchdown on a 22-yard run in the third quarter.

Joel Rizor scored on runs of 58 and 44 yards for the Pioneers (1-5, 1-8). He finished with 239 yards rushing.
