PT improves to 9-0, routs Baldwin

BALDWIN – Cole Neupaver scored three touchdowns as Peters Township remained unbeaten with a 61-0 drubbing of Baldwin (0-9) in a Class 5A Allegheny Six Conference game Friday night.

Neupaver opened the scoring with a 6-yard run to start a 48-point first half for the Indians (9-0).

Joseph Wertman returned an interception 25-yards for a touchdown. Neupaver followed with a 29-yard touchdown run and a 72-yard pick six. Ian Watson caught a 22-yard pass from Nolan DiLucia for a score and Mark Ripepi added a 10-yard touchdown run.

Cooper Donovan caught two touchdown passes in the second half from two different quarterbacks. Talen Stauffer threw the first one from 20 yards and Luke Wagner threw the second one, a 13-yard score.

Jaden Blair closed the scoring with a three-yard touchdown run.
