Waynesburg rallies in 4th to beat California

WAYNESBURG – Teagen Crouse threw three touchdown passes in the fourth quarter as Waynesburg stormed back and defeated California 27-20 Friday night.
California (2-1) led 20-7 after three quarters but Waynesburg (2-1) scored 20 points over the final 12 minutes.
Crouse pulled Waynesburg to within 20-14 with a 34-yard TD pass to Jake Ricciuti. The duo hooked up again for a 15-yard score that put the Raiders up 21-20.
Crouse closed the scoring with a 33-yard TD pass to Jeffrey Blair.
California built a 14-0 lead in the first quarter on a pair of touchdowns by Aidan Keys, one a 3-yard run and the second a 16-yard TD pass from Logan Hartley.
After Crouse got Waynesburg on the scoreboard with a two-yard TD run, California’s Malachi Peak ran three yards to the end zone to give the Trojans a 20-7 lead.
