High School soccer: Bentworth boys earn win at Beth-Center
Ryan Moessner had a hat trick and two assists and Blake Lusk notched a pair of goals and assists as Bentworth (4-0, 7-0) secured a 7-0 win at Beth-Center (2-1, 5-2) in Class A Section 2 play Thursday.
Billy Moyer and Adam Moessner contributed a goal and assist for the Bearcats, who have not been scored upon this season.

Xavier Jackson scored on a penalty kick in the second half to lift Bethel Park (4-0-1, 4-1-1) to a 2-1 victory over Trinity (4-1, 4-2) in a Class 3A Section 2 match Thursday night. Jacob Wright scored a goal in the first half for the Hillers, which was assisted by Cooper Cincinnati.

Gavin Kern had a hat trick to lead Thomas Jefferson (4-0-1, 7-0-1) past Ringgold (2-3, 3-3) in a Class 3A Section 2 game Thursday night. Owen Householder and Nate Rice added a goal each for the Jaguars.

Tyke Snyder scored on a free kick in the first half for what proved to be the lone goal in a 1-0 win for Mt. Pleasant (5-0, 6-1) over Waynesburg (1-3-1, 1-4-1) in a Class 2A Section 4 game Thursday.
Mt. Lebanon 2, Canon-McMillan 1 (OT)
Benton Thompson scored in overtime to lift Mt. Lebanon (2-1, 6-2) to a 2-1 victory over Canon-McMillan (1-2, 4-2) in a Class 4A Section 2 match Thursday.
Peters Township 5, Connellsville 2
Colin Froelich, Nate Matuszewski, Anthony Maiello, Brady Rose and Connor Glass scored a goal each for Peters Township (3-0, 6-0) in a 5-2 victory at Connellsville (0-3, 2-6-1) in a Class 4A Section 2 match Thursday.
In other games: South Fayette beat Albert Gallatin 5-1.
