Central Valley runs past McGuffey

MONACA – Ethan Shearer ran for three touchdowns, sparking Central Valley to a 49-6 victory over visiting McGuffey on Friday night.

After a scoreless first quarter, Central Valley scored four touchdowns in the second period. Shearer opened the scoring with a 34-yard run and his one-yard plunge made the score 28-0 at halftime.

Braddock Ambrose threw scoring passes of 68 and 79 yards.

McGuffey’s touchdown came on a six-yard run by Dristan McAnallen in the fourth quarter.
