Wash High rolls over Sto-Rox

Wash High scored four touchdowns in the first quarter on its way to a 49-6 win over Sto-Rox in a Class 2A Century Conference game Friday night at Wash High Stadium.
The Prexies (2-0, 4-1) scored seven touchdowns in the game and all of them were on runs.
Jahvon Woods opened the scoring with a 6-yard touchdown run. Cayden Cook added a five-yard run and Tristan Reed finished out the first quarter scoring with a pair of touchdown runs of 21 and nine yards.
Cook added a three-yard touchdown, Trenton Grooms scored from 323 yards and Jamarie Walker had a two-yard touchdown run in the second quarter to make it 49-0 at halftime.
Dushawn Smith scored on a 38-yard run to give Sto-Rox (0-2, 0-5) its lone touchdown in the fourth quarter.
Reed went 5 of 8 passing for 111 yards. Wash High had 294 yards of offense and 17 first downs to Sto-Rox’s four. The Prexies held the Vikings to 66 yards of offense.
