Reed does little of everything in Wash High’s win

SOUTH PARK – Tristian Reed ran for a touchdown, passed for another and returned an interception 52 yards for a score as Washington won 48-7 at South Park in a non-conference game Friday night.
Washington (5-1) started slowly but increased its scoring output in the second and third quarters. The Prexies took a 7-0 lead in the first quarter when Reed ran two yards for a touchdown.
It stayed 7-0 into the second quarter, when Trenton Grooms broke off a 46-yard TD jaunt and Blaise Naraskivitch hauled in a 34-yard touchdown pass from Reed, giving the Prexies a 21-0 halftime edge.
Washington scored 21 points in the third quarter. Reed started the quarter with his interception return, Jamarie Woods added an eight-yard scoring run and Jahvon Woods had a one-yard TD plunge. Reed had a two-point conversion run during the quarter.
Washington capped the scoring in the fourth quarter on a 64-yard scamper by JaQuay Heyman.
The Prexies rushed for 282 yards. Reed completed five of seven passes for 113 yards.
South Park (3-3) was held to 72 rushing yards and 199 total offense.
