Fort Cherry scored 10 runs in the third inning and went on to a 15-5 win over visiting Brentwood in a nonsection game.

Colton Temple hit a two-run homer and Blake Sweder added a solo shot for the Rangers and Landon Trnavsky smacked two doubles to lead the Rangers’ 14-hit attack. Both Trnavskey and Temple drove in four runs. Ryan Huey pitched 4.1 innings.

Trinity 10, Thomas Jefferson 8: Trinity rode a seven-run first inning to a 10-8 win at Thomas Jefferson in a nonsection game.

Derek Falvo had a pair of doubles and Jonah Williamson had a two-bagger among his three hits to lead the Hillers’ 15-hit attack.

Landon Conn allowed one hit over five innings of relief to get the win.

Ringgold 12, California 0: Dylan Bartkus homered in the first inning, Gavin Angotti went 3-for-3 and Kennedy Nash fired a two-hit shutout as Ringgold won at California 12-0 in a nonsection game.

Bartkus hit a three-run homer in the first inning for all the runs Ringgold would need. Angotti doubled and tripled, scored three times and drove in three runs. Nash helped his cause with a double.

Waynesburg 12, Albert Gallatin 2: Lucas Slifko hit two of Waynesburg’s five doubles and the Raiders rolled to a 12-2 win over Albert Gallatin in five innings in nonsection play.

Slifko and Grant Pack both drove in three runs for Waynesburg to back the winning pitching of D.J. Reese.

Uniontown 12, Carmichaels 3: Uniontown took advantage of eight Carmichaels errors and defeated the host Mikes 12-3 in a nonsection contest.

Carmichaels had three extra-bases hits, including a triple by Dominic Yazzani and doubles by Cannon Bupka and Scottie Maskil.

Carlynton 15, Bentworth 14: Carlynton scored three runs in the bottom of the 10th inning to beat Bentworth 15-14 in a wild nonsection contest.

Carlynton scored a run in the bottom of the seventh to force extra innings at 7-7. Both teams scored five times in the ninety inning and Bentworth pushed across two in the 10th to take a 14-12 lead.
