High school baseball: Big inning carries C-M to win over Seton LaSalle

Canon-McMillan scored seven runs in the fourth inning and went on to a 10-3 victory over visiting Seton LaSalle in a non-section game Friday.
The Big Macs (2-0) made the most of only four hits as Seton LaSalle pitchers issued six walks and hit three batters. The Rebels also committed four errors.
Winning pitcher M.J. Maruschak struck out nine over five innings. He also drove in a pair of runs.Massimo Falconi had two of C-M’s hits and scored twice.
Losing pitcher Josh Burkholder hit a solo homer for Seton LaSalle (0-1).
Upper Moreland 11, Jefferson-Morgan 2: Lucas Zipper homered and drove in five runs, and three Upper Moreland pitchers held Jefferson-Morgan to one hit in an 11-2 win over the Rockets in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
Jimmy Murray also homered for Upper Morelan, which scored in each of the first six innings.ru had the lone hit for J-M (1-2).
California 10, McGuffey 3: Eli Carpenter singled four times and drove in five runs to help California cruise to a 10-3 win over McGuffey.
Weston Monticelli pitched six innings and allowed one earned run on five hits to earn the win. He struck out three and walked one. Monticelli also had three hits, including a double.
Preston Hornack and Levi Young had two hits apiece for the Highlanders.
Fort Cherry 11, South Side Beaver 0: Dylan Lueck allowed one hit over five innings and struck out three as Fort Cherry earned an 11-0 win over South Side Beaver.
The Rangers plated six runs in the fifth inning. Ben Demascal had an RBI double, Blake Merckle and Ryan Huey produced a two-run single each and Blake Sweder brought home a run with a single.
Merckle and Ryan Huey had two hits.
