High school softball: Robinson powers Burgettstown to win

Brooklyn Robinson went 4-for-4 and drove in four runs, powering Burgettstown to a 12-2 win over Wilmington on Sunday in Pigeon Forge, Tenn.

Burgettstown finished the game by scoring six runs in the sixth inning. Winning pitcher Evellyn Lehman scattered four hits and struck out eight.

Kylie McClelland had three hits, including a double, and scored three runs.

Redbank Valley 10, Burgettstown 7: RedBank Valley escorted four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to rally and beat Burgettstown 10-7 on Sunday.

Raya Sentipal homered, doubled and scored two runs for the Blue Devils out of the leadoff spot. Andu Midler homered and drove in two.

Southeastern 13, Jefferson-Morgan 3: Southeastern (Ohio) scored seven runs in the second inning and went on to a 13-3 win in five innings over Jefferson-Morgan in Pigeon Forge, Tenn.

Ava Wood hit a triple for J-M (2-1).

Southeastern 12, Burgettstown 1: Southeastern also used a pair of five-run innings to beat Burgettstown, 12-1 in five innings on Saturday.

Raya Sentipal had a pair of hits, including a triple, for the Blue Devils.

Burgettstown 7, Brownsville 1: Burgettstown had a split on the day as the Blue Devils defeated Brownsville, 7-1.

Winning pitcher Evelyn Lehman threw a three-hitter, and Alice Kubatka hit a two-run inside-the-park homer. Emma McGregor also drove in two runs.
