Mapletown falls at East Allegheny
NORTH VERSAILLES – East Allegheny scored 21 first-quarter points and went on to a 42-6 win over Mapletown in a nonconference game Friday night.
Jelanie Hunt rushed for 132 yards and two touchdowns, scoring on juants of 11 and 48 yards in the second quarter.
East Allegheny’s Tanner Loya opened the scoring with a four-yard TD run and caught a 41-yard pass from Rajib Oakes to make it 14-0.
The Wildcats’ Camden Brammell had a strip sack, scooped up the fumble and returned it 15 yards to make it a 21-0 game.
The lone score for Mapletown (0-2) was a 54-yard run by Carson Vanata in the third quarter. Vanata rushed for 115 yards on 11 carries. He also caught two passes for 27 yards.
