Trinity taps Ferrari as new boys basketball coach

Trinity has hired Alec Ferrari as its new boys basketball coach.

Ferrari, a Chartiers-Houston grad, was the 2015 Observer-Reporter boys basketball player of the year and went on to play collegiately at Edinboro. He’s a health and physical education teacher at Trinity and an assistant coach for the Hillers’ football team.

Ferrari takes over the boys basketball program from Tim Tessmer, who was not retained.
