Charleroi had three-point halftime lead, but Yough rallied for a 21-9 triumph on Friday in nonconference play at Myron Pottios Stadium.

Charleroi (0-2) got on the scoreboard in the first quarter on Landon Barcus’ 33-yard field goal for a 3-0 advantage that the home team took into halftime.

Yough (2-0) got its offense going in the third quarter on touchdown runs of two and one-yard. Aidan Thorton scored on a 30-yard run to extend the visitors’ advantage to 21-3 as Ryan Sarver made the third of three PATs.

Charleroi scored a late touchdown in the final period, as Braedin Lunger scored on a 63-yard touchdown reception from Jackson Keranko.

Keranko was 10-of-22 for 125 yards.
