Chartiers-Houston wins 2nd straight game

Chartiers-Houston gave head coach Dan Lis two wins in a row with a 48-12 victory over Mapletown on Friday night at Chartiers-Houston in nonconference play.

Aaron Walsh ran for 147 yards on 15 carries and scored four touchdowns as the Buccaneers improved to 2-1.

Walsh scored on runs of 3, 62, 11 and 22 yards. He also threw for 155 yards on nine completions, including a 25-yard touchdown pass to Nathan Brezinski.

Brezinski caught seven passes for 123 yards.

Chartiers-Houston’s Dominic Andreolli returned an interception 63 yards for a score. Teammate Zeke Watkins had a 12-yard touchdown run.

The Maples’ Brock Evans threw an 18-yard touchdown pass to Colton Spitznogle and a four-yarder to Ashton Walker.

Evans rushed for 67 yards on 11 carries.
