Guesman’s big game helps J-M stay undefeated
Quarterback Houston Guesman passed for four touchdowns and ran for two others, leading unbeaten Jefferson-Morgan to a 49-14 nonconference victory over Burgettstown on Friday night at Parker Field.
Guesman threw scoring passes of 78 yards to Ryan Baker, 44 and 20 yards to Deakyn Dehoet, and 28 yards to Johnny Gilbert. Guesman also opened the scoring with a 73-yard run and closed it with a 20-yard scamper in the third quarter for the Rockets (3-0).
Dehoet also returned a punt 74 yards for4 a touchdown in the first quarter.
Burgettstown (1-1) scored on 23-yard run by Colton County in the first quarter and a 19-yard TD pass from Blake Neal to Lance Duran late in the second quarter.
Guesman completed six of 11 passes for 185 yards. He ran four times for 82 yards.
Dehoet had four reception for 79 yards.
