Bricker, KO battle past Charleroi

DORMONT – Billy Bricker ran for 159 yards and two touchdowns on 30 carries, powering Keystone Oaks to a 14-7 victory over visiting Charleroi in a Class 2A Century Conference game Friday night at Dormont Stadium.

With KO (2-0, 2-2) trailing 7-6 in the fourth quarter, Bricker scored on a four-yard run and added the two-point conversion that gave the Golden Eagles a 14-7 lead with 9:33 remaining.

Charleroi (0-2, 0-5) had taken a 7-6 lead in the third quarter when Noah Pletcher bolted 44 yards for a touchdown.

Bricker gave KO a 6-0 advantage with a five-yard scoring run in the opening quarter.

Charleroi had 119 yards of total offense, including 61 passing.
