North Catholic blanks McGuffey

CLAYSVILLE — Ryker Kennedy caught two touchdown passes and North Catholic’s defense shut down McGuffey in a 42-0 triumph Friday night in Class 3A Western Hills Conference play.

Kennedy pulled in a 31-yard reception from Joey Felitsky and Tom Arth ran in from two-yards out for a 13-0 lead after the first quarter.

Christian Naylor scored on a one-yard run and Arth added a one-yard touchdown run for a 27-0 halftime advantage. Kennedy caught a 57-yard touchdown pass from Arth in the third and Arth ran in from two yards out to close the scoring.

The Highlanders (0-2, 0-4) are at Beaver next week in conference action.
