Reed leads Wash High past Sto-Rox

MCKEES ROCKS – Tristan Reed ran for three touchdowns and passed two others as Washington won at Sto-Rox 41-16 in a Class 2A Century Conference game Friday night.

Wash High bounced back from a conference loss last week to improve to 1-1 in league play and 3-2 overall. Sto-Rox slips to 0-2, 0-4.

Reed had scoring runs of one, 17 and one yards, and threw TD passes for 24 and 61 yards to Ameer Nelson. They were the only two catches made by Nelson.

Reed completed five of 10 passes for 136 yards.

Jalen Dubina closed the scoring with a seven-yard TD jaunt for Wash High High, which led 20-8 at halftime and 26-8 after three quarters.
