Colton Stocker putsAws Al Saadi on his back and referee Larry Maggi prepares to call the fall during 107-pound action between Peters Township and Bethel Park. Stocker's pin got the Indians off to a 6-0 start in the section match.

Beth-Center won the final four weight classes and did well through the middle weights to double up visiting Fort Cherry 42-21 in Class 2A Section 1 Wednesday night.

The Bulldogs received falls early in the match from Freddy Sherman (160) and Jet Ehnart (Heavyweight) but secured the victory on the strength of pins by Rylan McCollum (133), Pablo Bautista (139) and Brandon Dunn (145) in the last three bouts to thwart any comeback attempt by Fort Cherry.

The Rangers opened the match with a pin by Chas Rush at 152. Braedon Welsh (172) and Lou Ryan (215) also had falls for the Rangers, who did not field a wrestler at 107 and 114, hurting its chances to win the match.

Bentworth 60, Washington 12

Bentworth had no trouble defeating shorthanded Washington 60-12 in a Class 2 Section 1 match on the Bearcats’ mats.

The Bearcats received eight forfeits and combined them with pins by Chris Vargo (133), Vitali Daniels (189) Zeek Malanosky (215).
