PEARL, Miss. – The Wild Things scored in only two innings Friday night but they were more than enough for a lopsided win.

Caleb Ketchup drove in three runs, Kyle Edwards and Wagner Lagrange each had three hits and Washington defeated Mississippi 11-4 at Trustman Park.

The Wild Things scored five runs in the fourth inning and added six in the seventh.

Washington pitcher Kelvin Perez, who was activated before the game, started but exited after only one inning with an injury. Perez struck out two of the three batters he faced. Eldridge Armstrong (2-1) pitched 3⅓ innings for the win. Colt Anderson gave up two unearned runs in 3 2/3 innings.
