Wild Things game rained out

The Wild Things’ game Sunday against the Joliet Slammers was rained out. It has been rescheduled as part of doubleheader Saturday, June 27 (5:05 p.m.) at EQT Park.

Sunday’s game was delayed before the scheduled 4:05 p.m. game time. Following a delay of 70 minutes, it was announced that it had been rained out.

Washington went 6-2 on what turned out to be an eight-game homestand. The Wild Things will begin a six-game road trip Tuesday at Schaumburg.
