Czech, Foster power Wild Things to win at Lake Erie

AVON, Ohio – Andrew Czech went 3-for-3 with a home run, Kobe Foster pitched seven strong innings and the Wild Things defeated Lake Erie 10-4 in a series opener Friday night.

Foster (4-0) scattered six hits and allowed two runs. He was backed by an offense that scored five unearned runs, taking advantage of four Lake Erie errors.

E.J. Cumbo had two hits and scored twice in his Wild Things debut, Caleb Ketchup scored two runs and stole three bases and Cole Fowler added a two-run homer in the ninth inning.
