Flex those spiritual muscles

5 min read

As a Christian today I see so many odd an unusual things that sometimes it’s hard to know what to believe and who to believe. It takes a lot of time, meditation and prayer to stay focused on the Father. Where has our focus gone? Have many left their first love? We are so busy about our own business sometimes it seems that many have no time for the Father’s business. There are some, yes, but the majority in this microwave society want to hurriedly pray and “keep on steppin'” and call it a day.

What we need to do is to exercise our spiritual flab and turn it into spiritual six-packs. If we strengthen our integrity that would be wonderful. The last thing that we need is to beat-up on one another and to be judgmental. Some can be rulers of this universe with Jesus but they choose to be lackadaisical in their ways, thinking that all is well when in reality all is not.

Your assistance is needed in this Holy war. No one should be begged to help. No one need refrain from helping their brothers and sisters like a scorned wife refrains from her husband. God sees that. It is not good to have a “until they address me I won’t address them” mentality. Christians should have a huge dose of constancy, devotion and loyalty in their lives. In my journey I have run into some people who were constant in zilch, devoted to nothing, and loyal to no one. The problem is, these are the people who would try to run Gods business and tell

everyone else what they should be doing. If you have no jewels in your crown how is anyone else going to walk side-by-side with you and get blessed? I once knew someone who ran a children’s after school program at church. This person was labeled “Children’s minister”.

They were hardly on time, always having problems, and the poor children used to stand outside in the cold waiting to get into the building. When this minister finally arrived they were high and under some strange ungodly influence.

Needless to say they didn’t keep their job long. What they needed was a heart change. No matter how many times they quoted Psalm 51:10 they still made up stories that no one can trust them. Everyone could see it except this person. Where was the constancy devotion and loyalty?

Their heart surely wasn’t focused on God. Some people can talk ‘Christian-ees’ but they find it hard to walk the walk. No Spirit, no Power. #Limitations Next we have those who are seemingly prone to making mistakes. Everything is temporal with them nothing lasts long. Also take note that the enemy is temporal.

2nd Corinthians 4:18 says while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Just as people go to a local gym and ride machines there, roll on the balls, walk, Jog, swim or curl, we should do it in the spiritual as well. Jog through the word, always walk with Jesus, swim in the water of the word, rollover the potholes in your path, ride the waves of adversity knowing that Yahweh is on your side, curl those demons as you throw them behind your back and under your feet in Jesus name.

Let’s show God that we are in tune with him, strong only in His power, spiritually pumped, and ready to be loyal to Him or those that He sends in our paths. Walk the paths with the chosen and don’t beat them down, walk with them. What you are to beat down and bury is your Old Man (not your husband…the old YOU!) And during this journey, don’t just make an appearance, be the appearance! Jesus didn’t just make an appearance when he showed up he was the appearance!

Build yourselves up…

Jud 1:20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, (Jewish version) Jud 1:20 But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy faith, and pray in union with the Ruach HaKodesh.

2Ch 35:3 And said unto the Levites that taught all Israel, which were holy unto the LORD, Put the holy ark in the house which Solomon the son of David king of Israel did build; it shall not be a burden upon your shoulders: serve now the LORD your God, and his people Israel, Zec 6:15 And they that are far off shall come and build in the temple of the LORD, and ye shall know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you. And this shall come to pass, if ye will diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God.

Have the most beautiful of days,
